If you are filling your tax forms physically, make sure handwriting is easy to understand. In case, you are unable to read your own handwriting, IRS agents will not even bother to give it a second look and right filing will be transformed into wrong filing. Therefore, your filing needs to be neat and clean. Try not to strike words and refrain from overwriting. Once you receive the notice, don’t regret that if you could have filed the return neatly, result would not be the same.
